Thank you very much for choosing to participate in this experiment. By participating in this experiment, you make an important contribution to science. The experiment will take about 13 minutes to complete, and you will be paid £1.1 GPB after the experiment has ended.

The purpose of the experiment is to investigate certain aspects of human behavior. To be eligible to participate, you must be at least 18 years of age. Participation in this study is voluntary and you are free to withdraw at any time. You can withdraw during the experiment by shutting down your web browser. Please note that you will not be paid for your participation if you do not complete the experiment.
The experiment is divided into three sections. In each section, you will be asked to fill in a survey.
Please note that the study involves control questions aimed at detecting inattentive responding. If you do not answer all control questions correctly, you will be excluded from participation in this study.
Your participation in this study does not prejudice any right to compensation, which you may have under statute or common law. There are no foreseeable risks associated with participating in this experiment and all data will be stored on a secure server and kept confidential. Data collected from this study will be used to write scientific manuscripts for publication and/or presentations at conferences.
